Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. You can explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu and make last-minute preparations for the trek ahead.
Today, we will explore some of the cultural and historical wonders of Kathmandu Valley. Visit ancient temples, palaces, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, immersing yourself in the rich Nepalese culture. Additionally, you'll have time to buy or rent any trekking equipment you may need and make final preparations for the adventure.
Our trek begins with an exhilarating drive to Syaprubesi, a picturesque village nestled amidst the mountains. The journey will offer stunning views of the countryside and terraced fields. Upon reaching Syaprubesi, settle into your lodge and rest for the night, preparing for the trek ahead.
The real trekking starts today! We'll trek through dense forests and cross suspension bridges over the Langtang Khola. Enjoy the beautiful rhododendron and bamboo forests along the way. Our destination for the day is Lama Hotel, where we'll spend the night.
As we ascend further, the landscape changes, and you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Langtang Lirung (7,227m) peak. Langtang village, inhabited by the Tamang people, is your stop for the day.
Today's trail takes us to Kyangjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery located in the heart of the Langtang Valley. The stunning backdrop of snow-capped peaks surrounds this picturesque village. Take the afternoon to explore the area and acclimatize to the higher altitude.
To ensure a successful trek, we have a day for acclimatization. We'll hike to Tserko Ri, a viewpoint that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Langtang Himalayan range. After the hike, return to Kyangjin Gompa for the night.
We retrace our steps and trek back to Lama Hotel. Enjoy the familiar trail and landscapes as we descend to a lower elevation.
Today, we head towards Thulo Syabru, a village with a mesmerizing view of the Langtang Himalayan range. The village is rich in local culture, and you can interact with the friendly residents.
The trail takes us to Sing Gompa, also known as Chandan Bari, which is famous for its cheese factory. Enjoy the beautiful rhododendron forests and encounter the occasional wildlife.
A challenging day awaits as we ascend to Gosaikunda, a sacred alpine lake with religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists. The rugged landscape and pristine surroundings make this a memorable journey.
The trail continues through the rugged terrain, passing by more serene lakes and breathtaking mountain vistas. We reach Ghopte, a village located on a ridge, for our overnight stay.
As we descend further, the landscape changes again, and we enter the Helambu region. Melamchigaun welcomes us with its warm hospitality and unique culture.
Today's trek takes us to Terkeghyang, a beautiful Sherpa village. Immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Sherpa community.
Our final trekking day leads us to Sermathang, where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Jugal Himal range and Langtang Himalayas. Celebrate the completion of your trek with the locals.
We trek down to Melamche Bazar and then drive back to Kathmandu. Rest and relax in the city, reflecting on the incredible journey you've undertaken.
Spend the day exploring Kathmandu further, shopping for souvenirs, or simply relaxing. You may also choose to visit any places you missed during the first city tour.
Your adventure in Nepal concludes. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of the Langtang and Gosaikunda trek.
