Description
There would be Sightseeing after breakfast. We would visit Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, and Swyombhunath. They are among the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Nepal. They carry ancient historical, religious, and cultural values. Boudhanath and Swyombhunath (monkey temple) are not only sacred pilgrims for the Buddhists but also favored by all types of people and have been the main centers of attraction in Kathmandu Valley.
This day would be a visit to one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu Valley. It is the Bhaktapur sightseeing where there will be the local typical Newari cultures reflecting from the crafts in metal, wood, and stones. Bhaktapur is situated 13 km East of Kathmandu and is also known as Bhadgaoun. Ancient Bhaktapur Palace Square along with its 55-windowed Palace, Nyatapole, Dattatraya temple, Pottery square, and the unique crafts and arts are the major attractions of Bhaktapur. They have the cultural and natural heritages from the medieval era of Nepal. We drive to Nagarkot which is one of the nearby natural places to visit. Kathmandu Valley and hilly ranges beyond the valley could be viewed from there. This place is famous for the sunset and sunrise. If the weather is clear we can see the Himalayan ranges of Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Manaslu. We would have an overnight at Nagarkot.
We would have a lovely sunrise from the viewpoint of Nagarkot. After breakfast, we would drive to Namobudda which is one of the aesthetic places and monasteries of Buddhists. It is natural, peaceful, and religious. Stories related to Buddhism and the association of the places are worth hearing. We drive back to Hyatt Regency after viewing the hilly terrains, greenery and the peaceful scenario from Namobuddha.
We would fly to Bhairahawa early in the morning. We would drive to Lumbini, birth birthplace of Buddha. It is
about 20 Km and we would go sightseeing around the birthplace of Buddha, the Peace Temple, and monasteries. We
stayed overnight at Lumbini. This day remains sightseeing at Lumbini and in the evening we will fly back to Kathmandu. We would rest and stay overnight at Hyatt Regency.
This day would be again witnessing the beauty of one of the artistic cities of Kathmandu Valley. It is rich in metal crafts and other handicrafts. One of the UNESCO World Heritage sites with ample heritage like Patan Palace Square, antique Krishna temple, Lagankhel market, Museum, Golden temple, art crafts, and local cultures. There will be shopping time and a visit to Thamel. We drive back to Hyatt. The day will be the farewell. A Himalayan action representative will drive with you to the airport.
