Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! Upon arrival, our team will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to rest and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.
Today, we'll explore the cultural gems of Kathmandu Valley, including ancient temples, palaces, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Additionally, use this day to finalize all the preparations and get ready for the Lower Dolpo trek.
We'll take a short domestic flight to Nepalgunj, a town in the southwestern region of Nepal, located near the border with India. Here, we'll rest for the day, preparing for the next flight to Juphal.
An early morning flight takes us to Juphal, the gateway to the mystical Dolpo region. From Juphal, we begin our trek to Dunai, a small village surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The trek is short, allowing us to acclimatize and take in the views.
Today, we continue our trek, following the river upstream towards Tarakot. The trail leads us through picturesque terraced fields and quaint villages, offering a glimpse into the rural life of the region.
Leaving Tarakot behind, we embark on a scenic journey through dense forests and alongside gushing rivers. The trail gradually ascends, taking us to the beautiful village of Laini.
